I'm Leading a Photo Adventure to Nepal!
I’m thrilled to announce that I am leading a photography adventure to NEPAL!
The Myth of Mustang is a 10-day trekking tour operated by The Explorer's Passage. My Special Departure on October 28th, 2019 is a custom, never-before-offered, photo-workshop version of what National Geographic called “One of the 19 Must-Take Tours Throughout Asia.”
I’m proud to be partnering with The Explorer’s Passage, a respected adventure operator known for its creative, story-driven tours to the remotest destinations on Earth. In the words of TEP’s founder Jeff Bonaldi, “This is the best trip we offer.”
An independent, forbidden kingdom until 2008, Mustang remains an enclave of Tibetan Buddhism in the high plateau of the Nepalese Himalayas. To give you an idea how remote this region is, the entry permit alone costs $600 USD (don’t worry, it’s included). The dry mountain landscapes and pristine Tibetan culture make Mustang a magnificent photography destination.
This trip has it all: physical challenge (moderate), stunning scenery, immersive education, spiritual insight, and artistic awakening.
- Follow the footsteps of Guru Rinpoche who subdued evil spirits and brought Dharma to Tibet.
- Fly over one of the world’s deepest gorges with epic views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri massifs (+ optional Everest flyover on last day)
- Traverse two stunning Himalayan passes.
- Just Kathmandu it.
- Master the basics of travel photography; learn how to use your captures to enhance the transformative aspects of the trip.
Spaces are limited (14 people) and will fill fast. So…will you join me in Nepal?
